mon & tues - gerlinda

monday was supposed to be "stretching & strenghtening" day. what does that mean? is it sort of like a rest day, with maybe some situps or something? anyway, i did NOTHING! i meant to go to bed early to recover from not sleeping all weekend; instead i played my guitar well into the night...

yesterday was a 4-mile run. i did it at the gym, after work. and just to see if i could, i set the treadmill on a 10-minute mile pace. what do you know? i can run that fast, and still have juice left over at the end. truthfully, it was more difficult. i was breathing harder and there were a couple of times i really would've liked to slow down - but i kept pushing. i'm not sure what this means. should i be trying to get faster? will going faster on the shorter runs help my stamina on the longer ones?
